Question:

How do I program multi-scheduled time zones for different doors?

 

I want to be able to program one door to give me Access from one time period and then have another door give me Access at another time period.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Open ‘Zone’ section. 

Configure Zone 1 to desired schedule for 1st door(s).
Set ‘LINK’ to ‘END’.
Select desired door node (if multiple doors, must send one at a time.)

Click ‘Send’.

While remaining on Zone 1, change start/end times to reflect desired  schedule for 2nd door(s).
Ensure that ‘LINK’ is still set to ‘END’.

Select desired door node (if multiple doors, must send one at a time.)
Click ‘Send’.

Open ‘Users’ section.
Apply Zone 1 to user(s) intended to follow said door schedules.
Click ‘save’.


**PLEASE NOTE: After this configuration is set, you CANNOT use ‘all items’ option in the ‘DNLD’ section. This will negate the concurrent door schedules.

Turning off the hardware Acceleration system wide in Windows XP 
   You can turn off hardware Acceleration completely or turn it down system wide in the following manner: 
        
1. Click on Start > Control Panel.


2. In the classic view, double click on the Display icon.


3. Select the Settings tab and click on the Advanced button. The Advanced Settings dialog box appears.


4. Click on the Troubleshoot tab.


5. You can disable the hardware Acceleration completely by dragging the slider to the extreme left of the scale. You can also choose to turn down the hardware Acceleration by selecting an intermediate value.
   
  
If the issue is resolved with hardware Acceleration turned off, the source of the problem could be old video drivers for your video adapter. In that case, you need to contact the manufacturer of your video card to get the latest drivers.   
  
If you have installed the latest video driver for your video adapter and you continue to experience graphic issues with the Graphics Hardware Acceleration slider set to ‘Full’, try experimenting by reducing the Acceleration by one notch and checking the results

How do I remove the startup password from the DX series?

 

 

 

 

You can change it in setup menu.
In the system menu -> system password -> don't type the any password -> confirm -> esc key
-> Then power off the unit and power it back on and it will not ask for the password again.

My DX series DVR does not power on. The power light is blinking blue but I have no video. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The NBX DX comes locked from factory. You must unlock the system using the instructions below.

1. Connect power cable
2. Press the power button and then press the "0" button eight times and Enter Button  The system will boot up
3. Next press the ‘Lock button’ on the front panel and press the "0" button eight times (ID: 00, PW: 000000) to release the system lock. You may now enter the System Menu.
