ESLI Surveillance extends a limited one year warranty to the original purchaser, that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for one year from the date of purchase.

ESLI Surveillance’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing, at ESLI Surveillance’s option, products or parts determined by ESLI Surveillance to be defective either in materials, or workmanship. To attain warranty service, the customer must obtain a "return authorization number" prior to sending any equipment back. Items without a "RAN" will not be accepted and will be returned at the customers expense.

All shipping expenses are the customers responsibility after 14 days from date of purchase. If the product has been updated or superseded, a replacement will be made with a current model of the same quality and function. Warranty of the replacement parts is limited to 90 days or the un-expired portion of the warranty period of the product on which the parts are being used, or whichever is longer.

This warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by: (1) modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by any persons or company other than ESLI Surveillance; (2) physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of, the product or operation thereof in a manner inconsistent with the use indicated in the instructions; (3) any use of the product other than that for which it was intended; or (4) The Product has been damaged from external causes such as collision with an object, or from fire, flooding, sand, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake or damage from exposure to weather conditions, an Act of God, or battery leakage, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source, damage caused by computer or internet viruses, bugs, worms, Trojan Horses or damage caused by the connection to other products not recommended for interconnection by ESLI. This warranty does not cover labor costs.

 

The Consumer shall include a return address, daytime phone number and/ or fax number, complete description of the problem, proof of purchase and service agreement (if applicable). Expenses related to removing the Product from an installation are not covered under this limited warranty.

The Consumer will be billed for any parts or labor charges not covered by this limited warranty. The Consumer will be responsible for any expenses related to reinstallation of the Product.


ESLI will repair the Product under the limited warranty within one-year after receipt of the Product. If ESLI cannot perform repairs covered under this limited warranty within 14 days, or after a reasonable number of attempts to repair the same defect, ESLI at its option, will provide a replacement product or refund the purchase price of the product less a reasonable amount for usage. In some states the Consumer may have the right to a loaner if the repair of the product takes more than ten (10) days. Please contact the ESLI Care Contact Center at the telephone number listed at the end of this warranty if you need a loaner and the repair of the Product has taken or is estimated to take more than ten (10) days.


If the Product is returned during the limited warranty period, but the problem with the Product is not covered under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, the Consumer will be notified and given an estimate of the charges the Consumer must pay to have the Product repaired, with all shipping charges billed to the Consumer. If the estimate is refused, the Product will be returned freight collect. If the Product is returned after the expiration of the limited warranty period, ESLI's normal service policies shall apply and the Consumer will be responsible for all shipping charges.

ESLI Surveillance is not liable for any special incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, damage to or loss of equipment, lost of profits or revenue, costs of renting replacements and/or any other additional expenses, even if ESLI Surveillance has been informed of the prospect of such damages. Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which other than the warranty contained herein might arise by inference or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed including the implied warranties of merchantability and of the fitness for a particular purpose.
