Frames Per Second (FPS) Record:

This specification represents the recording frames-per-second your images are recorded to the hard drive. Normally this setting varies and is the lowest of the FPS on your DVR .

When the FPS on a system is listed this is the total FPS for that system.

Also see Playback& Live FPS.

You must divide the total FPS by the number of cameras.

Example

120FPS I number of cameras = FPS for each individual camera.

120FPSI16CAMERAS=7.5FPS

When you watch a movie at a theater it's normally shown at 24FPS.

Television is normally 30FPS.

This is called "seeing motions fluid".
