Frames Per Second (fps) Record:

This specification represents the recording frames-per-second your images are recorded to the hard drive. Normally this setting varies and is the lowest of the fps on your DVR .

When the fps on a system is listed this is the total fps for that system.

Also see Playback& Live fps.

You must divide the total fps by the number of cameras.

Example

120fps I number of cameras = fps for each individual camera.

120fpsI16CAMERAS=7.5fps

When you watch a movie at a theater it's normally shown at 24fps.

Television is normally 30fps.

This is called "seeing motions fluid".
